had an all-nighter yesterday....studied till almost midday and then slept till 9 p.m 

i need to get motivation to complete both polity and geography.....i'm getting more confused about my optional day-by-day...... psir is still the first choice mostly because of IR and theories but it seems that psir might not be that scoring a subject these days....rather people choose sociology or anthropology or pub ad to get more marks in mains

the syllabus for sociology is shorter than psir and their is no current affairs involved so it could provide a shortcut into mains and after reading some sources sociology seems like a subject which could provide high marks for anyone

i think the best thing to do is to attend 1 sociology class and 1 psir class....read some topper answers and then decide.....i should focus more into my gs subjects for now rather than make a fuss about optional...i'll get back to this after completeting geography and polity lectures

as it has been almost a month since i started my preparations, here's the rough study plan for the future:

1) polity siddhart arora lectures

2) geography rushikesh lectures

3) polity vajiram notes

4) polity laxmikant 1st reading

5) geography ncert reading (atleast twice)

6) for polity , ncert reading once then go for ignou notes mug up

this would take another 1.5 months according to me but it would ensure in-depth knowledge

7) complete enviornment lectures from rushikesh sir

8) shankar ias environment notes reading (strictly twice) 

9) history

    a) start with modern history

    b) combined with art & culture lectures

    c) after modern complete post independance history

    d) combine with ancient history and medival history

    e) leave world history for completetion with IR

10) Economy lectures

11) Combine with either history or society

12) complete governance and social justice together

13) start current affairs and international relations with world history (continue till end)

14) after complete IR theory part, start Optional lectures with SR notes

15) Complete total optional portion 

16) ethics theory part with csat preaparation 

17) ethics case studies with internal security 

18) basic science and technology with aptitude practice

19) start revision

*complete short mock tests on polity,geography and other subjects in between the lectures

*points to be added as according to understanding of syllabus at that point
